What is kinesiology?

Kinesiology (n)
From Greek kinēsis - "movement, motion", kinin - "to move"

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human or non-human body movements, performance, and functions. Born in the late 60’s, Dr.Goodheart’s Applied Kinesiology combines the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine of assessing energy and bodily functions with western chiropractic techniques.

ENERGY KINESIOLOGY

Stress accumulates every day in a subtle way, impacting the body's nervous system function and ultimately the individual's health and wellbeing.  

Energy Kinesiology is a non-invasive, holistic therapy which uses muscle monitoring to identify energetic blockages and imbalances in the body that may cause emotional and mental stress, physical pain or chronic diseases.

Even within the field of Energetic Kinesiology there are many different approaches. These are all built on the same foundational principles but vary in their interpretation and application of techniques.

One key concept developed by Richard Utt is the acupressure formatting, a way that allows practitioners to interact with human bodies at a more complex level, using a combination of specific points (acupoints) and hand modes.

Neuroenergetic Kinesiology

Neuroenergetic Kinesiology has been developed by Hugo Tobar since 1998 and became one of the world’s most modern and advanced streams of Kinesiology.  

Tobar’s extensive development of acupressure formatting allows practitioners to pinpoint the exact location of imbalances in all areas of the human anatomy, physiology and energetic structures. 

The use of this combination allows the practitioner to be extremely specific in the area of focus and inquiry, and thus increase the depth of balance achieved.
